There are a number of ways in which we offer support to women.

Street Work Outreach

Once a week we reach out to  women who engage in street work to offer them refreshments, safe sex essentials and toiletries. We hope to establish relationships with them in order to offer support in other contexts of their life. We strive to know each woman by name and remember aspects of their lives that they have told us about the week before, so to show them that to us they are so much more than what their body can offer.

offstreet support in venues

We have good relationships with venues in Derbyshire and visit the women working in these places to offer support and build relationships.

drop-in sessions

We host periodic drop-in sessions at the Salvation Army café in Derby town centre where we spend time investing in our relationships with these women, listening to them, sharing with them, and if necessary offering them guidance and linking them into other support services.

Befriending

We offer one-to-one befriending support with women to build friendships, offer a compassionate ear to listen, offer practical support to aid them in addressing various social issues and attending health appointments.

Joint working

We work to build close relationships with sister organisations in different areas to promote good works that are happening across the midlands and the rest of the UK.
